5th Characteristic of The Conscious Hispanic

5. One who accepts their fellow hispanics who do not go along with the so-called "traditions." For ex. do not speak spanish, marry or date outside their culture, live in areas that are not predominantly latino etc.

What does this mean?

The Conscious Hispanic accepts all Hispanics no matter what their choices in life. We believe that everyone has a right to choose based on what suits them, not what suits their community. The Conscious Hispanic's community consists of all individuals who understand that we are the creator's of our reality. We see the value in the individuals choice and do not criticize, but instead we respect.

4th Characteristic of The Conscious Hispanic

4. One who accepts and respects all latinos whether they are Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Columbian, Cuban etc.

What does this mean?

The Conscious Hispanic sees all Hispanics as equal. It is unfortunate that even within the Hispanic/Latino community there are those who do not respect each other. For example, for some reason their is this distaste between Puerto Ricans and Dominicans. The Conscious Hispanic sees beyond this. We do not have a "herd" mentality. We create our own path. We decide, as individuals, that we are not going to go along with everyone else just because. We are accurate thinkers. We are independent thinkers, and the only one we follow is ourselves.

We realize that all of us, no matter what Hispanic culture we belong to, come from the same source, and ultimately this is all that matters.

3rd Charactistic of The Conscious Hispanic

3. One who looks within for the causes of circumstances in their lives

What does this mean?

Being conscious of the fact that we create our reality, we realize that the circumstances and events that we experience on a daily basis are brought upon by ourselves.

When we experience a situation that does not please us, instead of wallowing in despair or believing that everything wrong happens to us, we look at the situation as a blessing because what it is revealing to us is that which we have been thinking about. And we are not afraid because we know that at that moment we can chose to learn from it and walk away knowing that the future will bring better situations that will please us.

2nd Characteristic of The Conscious Hispanic

2. One who takes responsibility for their life

What does this mean?

It means that since we are aware that we are creators of our reality, we realize that WE are solely responsible for the circumstances and events that occur in our lives. We do not place blame on any outside source, such as the Government, the Corporations, other individuals, the white man, for our problems. Instead we embrace what comes to us, and try to figure out how we can change what we don't like, in the future. This tendency for us to blame everything on everyone else, or depend on others to support us, is what keeps us where we are.

For example, if we count on the Government (welfare) to feed, shelter and clothe us then we can only go as far as the Government can take us. If they give us $100 a month then we can only do things or have things or be things that $100 can afford. That's not very far. But if we take responsibility for ourselves, then we can create far more wealth than $100, and be do and have whatever we want, whenever we want.

This is what The Conscious Hispanic realizes and takes advantage of this power to create.

1st Characteristic of The Conscious Hispanic

1. One who realizes we are the creator of our reality.

What does this mean?

It means that we realize that we have the power to create what we want in our lives. We know that if we want a new job, we have the ability to create that new job. If we want a new house, we can create it. If we want a new relationship we can have that too.

Nothing, nor noone, can stop us from creating the life that we want. We realize that we come from a powerful force. Some call it God, others call it Energy, Life Force, Buddha, or Christ, and their are many other names. But it is all the same. And it is this life force that gives us the power to realize what we want in our lives.

This is what we believe and we use this power consciously without harm or inspite of others.
